The International Association of Lions' Clubs is a volunteer service
organisation. It is made up of over 40,000 individual clubs grouped under a
world-wide organisation. Club members participate in local and international
humanitarian service projects emphasising health, community welfare and the
promotion of international understanding.
- People who have decided to dedicate a small part of their time and efforts
to support the needy in their communities.
- People who identify the needs of others and set about meeting those
needs.
- People who enjoy working in comrade-ship to help those less fortunate
than themselves.
- People who enjoy themselves and who experience still further enjoyment
while helping others.
